What’s New in Local 9.2.6
Features
- Connected WP Engine accounts now display the account nickname during push/pull.
- Local now prompts macOS users running the Intel version of Local on an Apple Silicon machine to download the Apple Silicon version, which is faster on Silicon.
- Ghostty is available as a terminal option for site shells on macOS. Set it in Local preferences at Appearance & behaviour → Default apps → Terminal.
Fixes
- Windows users storing sites outside their main system drive will now be prompted to update file permissions when pulling from WP Engine, fixing sites that failed to load after a pull.
- Site shells no longer inherit NODE_ENV=production from Local. npm commands you run in site shells now use the default NODE_ENV value (development). You can still override this in your shell config if needed.
- Renamed ‘Open AdminerNeo’ label to 'Open AdminNeo’ to reflect the new project name.
- Updated HTTP/2 syntax in Local’s nginx config, removing an nginx deprecation notice that could flood logs.
Updates
- Updated Electron from 35.1.2 to 37.2.6.
