I’m running Ubuntu 20.04 using Parallels on a M1 MacBook Pro. It would be great to have a version for Ubuntu that uses ARM64 architecture.
I am also running Ubuntu on Parallels on a Mac. It would be nice to have this option. However, I REALLY want Local for Ubuntu Arm64, because I also run Ubuntu on a RasPad (Raspberry Pi Tablet), and this would make my tool kit nice and compact.
It’s not just for Mac or Rapsberry Pi anymore… I use Local on Windows via WSL2 and it works great, but when I tried to install it on a Windows Co-pilot laptop it failed, because the laptop, and therefore the WSL Ubuntu, is on ARM.
Commenting with the response I left in your other thread @gsarig
BTW, a follow-up on your reply, just to share a thought that perhaps Linux support is more important than native Windows support, as the Windows app works with the emulator so there is a workaround, but on Linux I’m not sure if there is a way to make it work on ARM.
Thank you for the follow up @gsarig! I’ll pass this along to the dev team.
