Log in to Local - 500 server error

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I am trying to start live links and it says to login and open a webpage for me to login and then give a 500 Server Error


What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I was force to update and that is when the issues happened. I have restarted my computer, internet, and reinstalled everything. Nothing works.

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. As per the above comment and this post I cannot log in either and I’m getting the 500 error.

My setup: Windows 11, Brave Browser (I’ve tried Edge as well). I have disabled Brave Shield and have tried clearing the application data in DevTools as well in case local storage or cookies were causing an issue. All attempts result in the 500 page.

Hopefully there’s some server logs that can be checked. It was working a couple of weeks ago and I’ve not changed anything locally.

Hi, I need help!
I have been trying to log in to Local in the app. When it transfers me to the website to log in, 500 server error comes up on the screen. I don’t know how to fix it.

I’m trying to log in too and am getting a 500 error. I’ve previously been able to log in so not really sure what has changed. My local is up to date, I’m stumped!

I’m on Mac, not windows. I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, (also Incognito in both) as well as Safari, all with the same outcome.

Sorry for this, @Alicja1. We saw some elevated 500 errors earlier that we’ve made some adjustments for. Please could you try again?

Sorry to piggy back onto this thread, but I’m also getting 500 errors when trying to log in. I’m on Mac, running the most recent version of Local.

Any ideas?

Nothing changed, still 500 server error.

I can additionally say I work on Windows

We made another change to reduce potential 500 errors. Please could you retry? Thanks for your patience with this.
