Mac rebooted now databases won't load

Help!

My Mac rebooted now when I try to launch sites it says “error establishing database connection”.

Database tables are still intact in app/sql/.

The database error log says stuff like this:

When I try service mysql start

I get this message:

[....] /etc/init.d/mysql: ERROR: The partition with /var/lib/mysql is too full! [FA failed!

So sorry for the trouble!

Fortunately, this is easily fixable, albeit with a fair bit of steps. See https://gist.github.com/claygriffiths/fd270f45d82da6feefd723c4fce5a4d7

Local now defaults the VM disk size to 120GB but it used to default to 20GB. The steps in the link above allow you to resize the existing VM disk.

I found that in another thread and tried it but got errors running the script.

I ended up deleting Local and VirtualBox and re-installing but now I get the following error when I try to add a site - “Error! WordPress installation failed.”

How can I completely wipe my system to reinstall properly?
