Mailpit doesn't work (404 error)

You’ll probably want to double check that you are actually on the Apple Silicon version of Local and not using the Intel version.

Local Slow on Mac

So, anyone who has encountered this problem on a Mac with M (apple silicon). The solution is to manually update the program to the Apple Silicon version (Releases - Local).
