Newly created site won't load in browser

Issue Summary

I installed local and created a new site. None of the buttons “admin”, “open site” or “open adminer” are getting loaded in the browser windows that open. No error is shown, the load-animation just goes on and on.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    all sites since i only have created one since i installed local

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Replication

Create new site in local using all default and preferred settings. Try “open site”, “admin” or “open adminer”. none of them get loaded in the browser windows that open up after the button click.

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    downloaded today 6.3.1+5826
  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional
      Windows 10 Pro latest updated installed.

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
