What issue or error are you experiencing?
Hello i am on Windows, using WSL2 Debian,
Is there a way to, when you click into Open Site Shell, it actually opens a new WSL shell window instead of doing nothing ?
Thanks.

Hello @aldersonellia - welcome to the Local community!
Thank you for your question.
What do you have set as your default terminal?
You can find that under Local > Settings > Default apps.
Thanks!
Sam
Hi @sambrockway,
I’m joining @aldersonellia because I have exactly the same problem. The Go to site folder link works, but when trying to open a site shell nothing happens. I set up a brand new WSL2 environment (Ubuntu 22.04) and installed the latest version of Local (8.2.1).
In Local (Ubuntu) I don’t have a Default apps section, whereas in Local (Win 11) I can change the terminal, see screenshot attached
Best regards
Henrik
Hello @aldersonellia and @rikhen -
Can either of you provide the Local Logs? You can get a zip of those logs by clicking the “Download Local Log” button from the “Support” tab of Local. See this help doc for more information:
That way we can see if there are any errors being thrown, etc.
Thanks!
Sam
Hi @sambrockway,
The download did not work, so I had to manually zip the two log files. Please see archive attached.
local-logs.zip (1.6 KB)
Best regards,
Henrik
Unfortunately, updating to the latest version v8.3.2 did not help either. @sambrockway?
Hi @rikhen
Do you also have a Router Log you can share as well? Or can you attempt to download the full Local Log again from the support center tab in Local so we can review all of that detail?
