Push to WPEngine (no pull) never pushes everything

Issue Summary

I build a site using Local, my client signs up for WPEngine, I try to push my Local site up, it only pushes some content but not all (child theme but not parent, for instance).

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? Yes all

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Yes

Replication

I build a site in Local. I connect to a WPEngine instance (API enabled). I choose the blank staging site and push my whole Local site up including database. (I have tried this with “push only newer files” and “push all modified files” selected, with the same results). Only some files actually push - my active (child) theme pushes up okay, but the parent theme does not, nor do any of the plugins.
