[SOLVED] Missing Hosts entry.This site may be inaccessible

Hi, I just downloaded Local. Installation worked fine, but now when I want to launch my new website It says “Missing hosts entry. This site may be inaccessible”. And the “Fix It” button doesn’t work. I tried every tips i could find on the forum but the error is still here.

Some help would be appreciate…

I have fixed the problem :slight_smile: i just had to uncheck the read only option from hosts file.

clay I’m still getting the same message, and this solution didn’t work for me.

I used to have xampp, and I might be changed things in the host file how I can make sure that my host file setting is original

Same here, nothing will work. uninstalled xampp just in case. uncheked the read only and exeption in kaspersky. disabled firewall. tryed v 5.0.6 and 5.0.7 , same result.
