Start up hangs at "Starting Machine" on Windows 10

Hello,

When I start the application it freezes at “Starting Local Machine.”

I had the same issue myself, i took a look at a few things. I re-downloaded the 2.3.1 version and then used an uninstaller program to remove absolutely every trace of Local By Flywheel. Once it was removed i looked at my Internet Security Software (Bitdefender) and check to see if it was blocking anything during install and while running the software which it was. So i unblocked and white listed everything and ran the install again.

Once it was installed i checked my Internet Security Software again to make sure it was not blocking anything and Bitdefender started seeing Local By Flywheel is a malicious application in its Treat Defense and i had to white list the application again. After all of that i restarted my laptop and everything started to work!

I find allot of security software is blocking the install or the running of the software so it might be worth looking there first and work backwards.
