"Uh-oh! Unable to provision site" on MacOs M3 Sonoma

I have just installed Local on my new Macbook Pro M3 running on the latest generation Sonoma and it is impossible to add my first website to the application whereas on my old PC (a Macbook Pro M1 Sonoma) there were no problems and I followed exactly the same process of installing the application… Please i need some help because I need to use the application for a wordpress site redesign quite quickly…

Hi @GaelleDsign

Rosetta 2 is required for Local’s Apple Silicon build due to the Nginx and MySQL Lighting Services compiled on the Intel architecture. We do plan to have a Local release out in the future that will drop this dependency but for now it is necessary.

You can install Rosetta by opening up a terminal window and using this command:

softwareupdate --install-rosetta
