Unable to change domain suffix

Issue Summary

I’m unable to change the domain suffix. The “change” button is greyed out. See attached image. I had previously used a .lan suffix but now need to change to .local. Changing the setting for new sites in preferences has no effect either. Does anyone have an idea how to rectify the issue?

  • Which version of Local is being used?

Version 6.1.5+5536

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

macOS Big Sur Version 11.6.1

Hey @defmech, Welcome to the Local Community Forums!

I’m not seeing any errors within the Local log and it seems really odd that Local can’t update that domain suffix.

Are you able to right-click on the site and select “Export”? From there, try importing the zip by dragging and dropping it onto Local which should allow you to select a different name, path, and domain for the site.
