Unable to Provision Site - MySQL Errors

Hello,

I encountered an error while trying to provision a site on my local machine. The error message states “Uh-oh! Unable to provision site.” It seems there are multiple issues with MySQL, including problems with initializing, starting up, and creating a data directory. Here are some of the error codes mentioned: MY-013236 [Server], MY-010762 [Server], MY-011071 [Server]. I am using Windows 11 OS.

So far, I haven’t been able to install even one WordPress site. I will also share the relevant log file.

Has anyone else faced this issue or can provide guidance on how to resolve these errors?

Hi @RootLocal

It looks like this error may be due to a special character in your Windows username.

Can you try creating and using a user directory without extended characters?

The general problem is that when a Windows Username includes special characters (so an apostrophe ' or a non-ASCII character like é) it can break the commands Local uses to communicate with the MySQL database.
