Issue Summary

With a fresh install of LocalWP and a fresh site, when using the WP CLI, I get the following error:


Warning: Failed to get current character set of the posts table. Reason

: ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

This happens whenever I try to run any WP CLI commands regarding the DB. for example, wp db import.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • This happens with all sites.

  • I can create a plain, new WordPress site and access it in the browser.

Replication

Windows 10, fresh install of LocalWP, running PHP 7.4.1. Happens every time.

System Details

  • Local Version 6.4.2+6012

  • Using Windows 10 Home

I usually work on Mac, so this is very weird to me that this would happen.
