Who didn't pay the bill?

What issue or error are you experiencing? I had an issue with localwp and was unable to even post on the forums from 10pm last night until 3:43 pm today because the forums were in read only mode due to some hosting not being paid.

This is quite troubling seeing as localwp is owned by one of the most respected WordPress hosting companies in the world. It shakes your faith in localwp at a time that your faith has already been shaken by an issue that you came here to get help with.

This is not the first time I have seen the forums closed due to this hosting payment issue.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc You just had to try and log into the forums…

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I’m sorry you couldn’t get help with your issues here recently, @jim_hubbard. We’re talking to Discourse to understand why our usual payment wasn’t processed, resulting in read-only mode. (The payment date also fell on a US holiday, hence the longer resolution time.)
