WP login credentials no longer accepted after all-in-one migration

Issue Summary

WP login credentials no longer accepted after all-in-one migration

Troubleshooting Questions

I have installed Local on Windows 10 and am considering using it for local development of WP sites. To test Local, I created a WP website on Bluehost and used the “All-in-one migration” plugin to export the website into a file. In Local, I created a dummy website, installed the “All-in-one-migration” plugin, and attempted to import the exported website.

Initially there was a problem with the size of the migration file, it was larger than the default max size (303 vs 300 MB), but after I edited php.ini.hbs to increase the max size, the all-in-one migration completes without errors.

When I try to open/edit the migrated website in Local, I get two problems: 1) My WP login credentials for the website (on Local) are no longer valid, specifically I get an error saying that my username is not registered on the site, even though it worked before migration; 2) Local says it cannot connect to the website’s database.

I created several websites in Local and try to migrate into all of them, and they all usually have the problems 1) and 2) above,
but there have been a few times when the problem does not occur (even though it is always the same exported website I am importing). Also, restarting Local, rebooting the computer, and reinstalling Local have all helped in some cases but not consistently.
