400 Bad Request Request Header Or Cookie Too Large nginx/1.26.1

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Any site I try to open using One-click admin gives me this error. I can “Open Site” each site, and navigate, but cannot log in; even using http://localhost:10144/wp-admin gives me same error

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I cleared my cache and history of any local history; installed the latest version, restarted my computer, but get the same error

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Jerry

When you cleared your cache did you delete all cookies as well? You may need to try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser and then closing your active sessions to start with a clean slate.

How do I clear my browser’s cache?

You may also try utilizing a different browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer if you’re using Chrome for example) or an Incognito window to troubleshoot further.

Thanks, yes, started by clear the last hour, then 7 days … so just now continued, 4 weeks … still didn’t help, so dumped everything all time, and that worked; I can log in to admin again; thanks
