I keep getting a 502 error for only ONE site i have on local. I have restored the site from a backup with the same error.
I have started a new site and then uploaded the backup with the same result.
I can open and view the site without issues.
Note - ive also reinstalled Local and now all my sites are gone, went to create a new site with the same name and its says already in use… where have my sites gone
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc
Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
For the site getting the 502 error, I would start by disabling plugins or swapping themes to see if that gets it working. You can click on Site Shell in your Local app and then run WP-CLI commands like wp plugin deactivate --all to disable all of them at once. Then you could turn them back on one at a time and see when it throws the error.
You should still be able to find your Local Site files on your device. If you spin up a new site and click on Site Folder it should take you to that area. Once you find your old sites you can compress them, and then drag and drop them over the Local app to reimport them.
Getting a constant 502 error with only one site on Local, all others have been tested and open wp-admin perfectly.
Ive restored from last backup, same result
Ive created a totally new install and uploaded last backup - same result
Ive created another new install and uploaded a prior backup- same result
