504 Timeout

Issue Summary

Hi, I am getting error 504 on my site. It wont open and neither will the WP admin panel. I have created a new site and that seems to work perfectly, the existing one does not.

I have reinstalled Local, restarted etc. Appreciate the help

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Just one

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?


Just screen loading before eventual error 504.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.7.0. I have also tried backdating to v6.6.1, no changes.

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Windows 10. Home version I think

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I tried a couple of things to try fix it, not sure I helped.

Mysqld already running on a port might be my issue? Not sure how to resolve.
