  • URL (ie
  • Describe how the WordPress site is hosted. For example:
    • Is it a traditional VPS or LAMP stack?
    • Is it containerized (Docker/k8s)?
    • Any sort of infrastructure fine-tuning - Caching? Custom Search (like Elasticsearch)? etc.
  • Describe how you currently deploy a site from Local to the remote host.

Hello @ben.turner

Thank you for the welcome!
I will gladly do so, although some items I would need to request at their support.

Hosting Provider Details:

  • Name: Combell
  • URL: Web hosting at Combell
  • Describe how the WordPress site is hosted:
    • AFAIK it is a LAMP stack. I´ll double check.
    • AFAIK it is Docker. I´ll double check.
    • Varnish, Redis & Ramdisk caching available
  • Today, we deploy using Duplicator export, and import.

If you need more input, please let me know so. I will ask their support to confirm the Docker/LAMP.

Hi @Willemso and @ben.turner,

I’m Brecht, an escalation engineer part of the support team at I’ve completed the requested info below:

  • Name: Combell
  • URL: Web hosting at Combell
  • Describe how the WordPress site is hosted:
    • We are using a LAMP stack (Debian, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
    • Varnish and Redis caching are available. Varnish is active by default on our Managed WordPress platform. On the regular shared hosting it is available, but up to the customer if they want to use it.
  • Our customers can deploy currently using FTP, SSH and our autogit-system (that allows deployments from a GIT repository)

Feel free to reach out if you need more specific details.
