After recent update: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

What issue or error are you experiencing?

After the most recent update, I can’t accsess my local sites anymore and get an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in firefox and chrome


What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I have cleared the Cache, History and flushed the DNS Cache, deleted Cookies and restartet the system.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

I don’t have Instant Reload installed and if I create a blank site the issue persists.

Switching the webserver from nginx to apache somehow solved the issue

What is your Router Mode set to?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

My router mode is set to localhost. And I’m not running anything else. (I think…)

If you change your Router Mode back to Site Domains are you able to use NGINX? Of course if you’re fine using Apache you don’t have to continue troubleshooting but if you need full functionality we’re happy to keep looking into this.
