All my sites are gone

What issue or error are you experiencing?

My c drive was almost full, and for some reason i couldnt start my website because of that. So i deleted many files from my computer, and went back into localwp.

But now all my sites are gone from the dashboard. I looked into my local sites folder and all of the sites are still there.

I’ve tried to zip one of the sites and import it to local, but it get the error “please try again with a compatible zip-file”

I also tried to create a new site and then manually import the old files into the new website. But it’s not possible for me to even create a new site.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Marci45

What happens when you try to create a new site for manual importing?

When you look in the Local site files do they still contain all of their content such as WP-Content and SQL databases?

If your site files are still in tact, you might try saving/copying all of them somewhere safe and then do a reinstall of Local to refresh.
