Best Practice Development

( This is my first use of Local and not able to find answers in forum )
Looking for best practices using Local for development of themes and plugins.

  • How to connect theme’s build output to Local site?
  • How to connect plugin’s build output to Local site?

At this point, I see the app/public folder has WordPress.

Currently taking approach of syncing dev/build folder to wp-content/plugins/myplugin. This approach won’t work for live development/debug cases.
