Collation mix in default setup

Database “local” is in utf8_general_ci, default wp tables are in utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci. This causes “Illegal mix of collations” error

I haven’t seen this error come up yet but we’re happy to look into it. Can you provide replication steps for getting the Illegal mix of collations error on your end? Feel free to include any screenshots or a short video on Loom or similar.

Additionally, can you share these items?

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs
