Hello! I am new to this forum and new to Local. I’ve created my first website–which I love.
I tried to find an existing post, category, or tag to fit my question and if any exist, I’m sorry I am making a new post.
My question is… can I create new websites within Local without overwriting my existing website? Do I need to do any configuring to my computer? Or can I just click that little button on the bottom left that says add local site without any worries and start a second website? I’d like to get in some practice with different templates and website topics. Eventually put together a portfolio of unlive, practice websites to sell myself as a designer.
I do not want a multisite. I want several websites completely independent from each other.

Hi @junec - thanks for using Local!
Yes, it is as simple as hitting the little green button on the button left to add another site! You can have as many different sites in Local as you would like (well, up to the point your computer runs out of memory, but you get what I mean 
).

I’ll add - as you create more sites in Local, you can also easily group them in your list of sites if that is helpful. Here is a screenshot of my Local currently where I have several groups and different sites in all of them.
