I’m getting the error: Error: Command failed: /Applications/Local.app/Contents/Resources/extraResources/lightning-services/mysql-8.0.16+5/bin/darwin/bin/mysql local -B --disable-column-names -e SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘siteurl’;
ERROR 1146 (42S02) at line 1: Table ‘local.wp_options’ doesn’t exist
I saw other posts about this error, along with the solution, but when I open mysql.sql and search for “CREATE DATABASE” to remove it, it’s not found. I need more specific instructions, because “Line 1” of my file doesn’t have ‘local.wp_options’ in it either. Maybe I’m in the wrong file? What am I doing wrong?
Local works fine on my computer. I have used Local many times and never had this problem. Usually I use it with Flywheel backups, or sync live sites. This is a downloaded backup from WPEngine.
I dragged the zip file backup of the site from the finder into the Local app. It seems to start fine, and then errors out after the import. https://www.screencast.com/t/m40M3L6qPJq

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
