I worked for a week on a site and all changes were saved every day until today, when it (Local? Elementor?) reverted back to the initial draft from five days ago and lost ALL of my changes and there is absolutely nothing in History or Revisions. Apparently, many others have also had this happen. Any suggestions as to how to recover my work? I’m on a Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.5 with the latest version of Elementor and Local. Thanks.
Hi @BCC
Did your hardware go through any updates or did you have any power disruptions during that time?
Have you made any site backups that you’ve saved using our Cloud Backups feature or your own cloud/external storage?
If you previously previewed or edited the site, some of your work might still be in your browser cache. Try opening the pages you worked on while disconnected from the internet (this may show an older cached version) or use the Wayback Machine if the site was ever live.
Some users have reported similar issues with Elementor failing to sync, especially when Local environments are involved. Try going to Elementor > Tools > Sync Library to force Elementor to reload from the database.
Otherwise unless you have something like Time Machine, these changes may have been lost.
