Restored a backup from wp-migrate to Local but my elementor portfolio isn't functioning

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I backed up and restored my live site using wp-migrate lite to local and all looks great. It’s really a great tool. Only complaint is that for some reason my portfolio isn’t functioning the way it should. The images are there, but the gallery functionality is gone. No image carousel appears in front of the background images in the local installation. And that’s really what I was wanting to test and modify locally and then restore later to the live site. Are there issues with backing up and restoring certain elementor scripts in local?

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Local installation portfolio does nothing…

It should do this…

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Thanks for the kind words about the restore process, @tysonbravo. I’m glad it mostly worked for you.

Sorry to hear about the Elementor script failure for the portfolio carousel, though.

Have you tried checking the browser console for JavaScript errors? If scripts are failing on the local version of your site, the console could give you some clues. You could use those to debug or search Elementor docs/support.
