Erased & restored from Time Machine. Now: Error establishing a database connection

Issue Summary

On my m1 Mac Mini, Monterey, I ran “Erase all content and settings,” and Migrated my data from Time Machine. Now I get "Error establishing a database connection " when trying to connect to my Local site.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Just one site.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
I can access another old site that is a new, plain WordPress site in Local.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.4.3+6116

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional

macOS Monterey 12.6.1

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Now I notice that my site/app/public folder does not contain a wp-config.php file.
