MySQL error after time machine restore

Issue Summary

I’ve restored my data with time machine after my computer has been stolen.
When I start a website, I have a connection error.
If I create a new website, it seems to work just fine.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    Yes, all before migration created.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yep

Replication

Maybe try a backup from tome machine

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    Last one

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
Mac OS M2 Pro with Ventura 13.3

  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:
    local-lightning.log (525.3 KB)

Hi @Mat_A

If this is only happening with a site or sites that were created before the restore you could test out some steps like this:

  • Locate site files for a restored site and copy them
  • Delete the site from Local
  • Zip up site files and re-import
  • See if the site works normally

Hi.
I thought about that but there is no sql file.
The main problem are the data

Hi @Mat_A

If the databases were lost with the restore then I’m afraid the site(s) may be irrecoverable. If you still have some of the content in a wp-content or uploads folder then you’ll need to spin up a new site and move that in manually.

In the future when working, you can set up our Cloud Backups feature to be able to save your work:
