Error after Updating

Hey All - I’ve also run into the same issue after updating - I get a persistent 502 error after updating to the latest version

Here’s a snippet of my error log

Hey @dxndre-ohme! Does it go away when when disabling Instant Reload?

Hey @Nick-B unfortunately not!

Hey @dxndre-ohme! I’ve moved your comments into their own post since they aren’t related to bug mentioned over there.

Could you provide some more details to help us take a further look into your issue?

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs

Keep us posted and we’d be happy to help further!

Hey Nick,

OS - MacOS Sequoia
Version - Version 9.1.0+6719

I tried downgrading to the previous version before the update (9.0.5) thinking it would potentially sort it, and now I don’t even see the LocalWP UI when I attempt to view my site in the browser, I just get a “ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED” error.
I then re-upgraded to the latest version thinking it would at least lessen the issue (so I could potentially see the UI on the browser but still no luck! :man_facepalming:t5:

local-lightning.log (199.0 KB)

Thank you @dxndre-ohme! What happens if you create a new, blank site in Local? Do you get a 502 when you open that one?

Hey Nick,

Creating a new site works fine, no 502 error.

Thanks!

In that case you could you try reimporting one of your sites getting a 502 and see if that solves the problem? The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files

Hey @Nick-B - reimporting seemed to do the trick - thanks so much!
