Error While Updating

I’m getting a message from Local that there is a new version to update to - but when I do I get the following errror message:

I am running macOS Sierra 10.12.4. The application is not in the Downloads directory - its in the applications directory.

Hi Meg,

Please try running this command in Terminal. Make sure Local is not running when you run it. Then, try the update again.

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Local\ by\ Flywheel.app

Hello. I tried running the command in Terminal. I still get the Error while updating - Could not create temporary directory message.

What can I do?
