First time new install won't load theme

Hello,

First time trying Flywheel. I’m on MacOS 10.14.3. Flywheel itself seemed to install OK. The Wordpress install loads the dashboard fine, but the front end will not load, and presents only the following message.

  • The theme directory “twentynineteen” does not exist.
  • ERROR: The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation.

The themes are indeed where they should be and the permissions seem correct. Going to the Theme area in the dashboard doesn’t show any themes at all, though the core Wordpress themes are all in place on the filesystem, and all with correct looking permissions and ownerships.

Any suggestions?

This morning, after another restart of Flywheel, and the site, I initially got a ‘Bad request error’ on the public face but the admin loaded fine. Clicking to the public faces after the admin loaded and now the site is working fine. That’s a little odd and makes me skeptical, but I’ll try working with it for the day.
