sure! Im doing it now!
Normally there should be a Fix now button you can press.
After that u need to either allow on windows or enter your password in mac.
It needs administrator privileges to acces and change the hosts file.
The file isn’t uploading, so i uploaded it to my google drive! Here is the link:

I have done it and given administrative access! But the error is still there!

Try pressing the fix it button on the right.
and enter your mac username and password.
It is working on my mac! This is my windows laptop! It doesn’t ask for a password when i click the button! It pops up a yes or no window!

First try restarting your mac itself and local itself.
Then try again.
when that doesn’t work go to help in the top bar and press show local’s log.
Post the log file here so we can see . if there is an error.
@clay can help you with this if the reboot doesn’t help.

Are you using something like Spybot Search & Destroy or another anti-malware suite?
If so, you need to disable hosts file locking. Here’s how you can do that with Spybot Search & Destroy:
- With the Advanced Mode active
- Tools section
- IE Tweaks section
- Uncheck: “Lock hosts file as protection against hijackers”
