I was working on a site and have everything in a git repo. If I move those files to the “Local Sites” folder. What else do I need to have them show up in the app?
I got a new computer and trying to rebuild my old environment on this new machine.

Did you ever figure this out? I just did a clean install after a very ugly failed Windows update, and need to manually setup Local install on the new build.
I would also like to have a solution for these situations.
At the moment, I don’t see a good way to re-install LocalWP then point it to a directory where there are sites from a previous installation.
Same here. Just bought a new macbook pro and trying to figure out the best way to move my Windows-based folder and sites to my mac. Haven’t found a decent answer yet.
Discovered there is an export, but the instructions failed to say (or I missed it) you need to start the site first and then the option will become available from the menu.
