Router mode

HTTPS is available only when running Routermode: localhost. Yet a warning is displayed exactly when Router Mode is set to localhost. I

Steps to reproduce

Install localwp (Router mode is “Site domains”
Create a new site. at SSL click trusted.
Opening the website in FireFox displays a warning that https is not available

Set Router mode to localhost
In the site a warning is displayed claiming that https is not available in localhost
Opening the site works with https.

What version of Windows are you on?

I noticed your Local version is a bit behind. Could you try updating to the most recent?

In fact to start with a full refresh you could try the steps here:

  • Export any sites that you have on Local and save them to a folder somewhere on your computer.

  • Fully uninstall Local from your computer.

  • Install the latest version of Local on this link.

  • Once installed, please restart the computer.

  • When the computer is restarted and turned on, close any applications that automatically run in the background (AntiVirus, Firewall, and other Developer applications included).

  • Check and see if the issue still persists
