The latest versions of Local (above 5.x) don’t need VirtualBox, so I don’t think that plays into this issue.
Have you been using Local before and this is this a new issue, or is this the first time you are setting Local up on this computer?
I have heard at least on other topic in the forums mention an issue with Windows Pro:
In that thread, one of the workarounds was to manually downgrade to the 5.6.10 version of Local.
