I can't connect my Local WP with ManageWP Local SYNC, Error 404

Hello I tried everything to connect my Local WP installation with ManageWP sync but I am not able to get it to work. I was able to pass the initial check if the Worker plugin is installed but I am still getting the 404 error when it tries to connect to ManageWP API.

I see that there was previous discussion regarding this and it seems like that someone managed to do this successfully but I am not being able to get it to work.

What I have already tried:

  • Add the localhost db port in wp-config file like ‘localhost:2020’
  • Change from pretty URLs to localhost version of URLs (this somehow worked and I was able to skip the first step where it says Worker plugin needs to be detected but didn’t manage to go further from that).

Hope some of you got this to work and can share how you managed to do it.

Have you tried reaching out to ManageWP team or checking their documentation at all regarding setting this up with a local environment? Could you provide some more details to help us take a further look?

  • What is your OS?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs
