problems related to mysql connection
Hello everyone,
I encountered an error when trying to open my WordPress site in Local WP, and I would appreciate your help in resolving it. Here is the error I’m facing:
Error: Command failed: C:\Users\Vincent Borgies\AppData\Local\resources\extraResources\lightnin…\mysqldmin.exe ping mysqladmin: connect to server at ‘::1’ failed error: ‘Can’t connect to MYSQL server on ‘::1 (100061)’ Check that mysqld is running on ::1 and that the port is 10007. You can check this by doing ‘telnet ::1 10007’
I have verified that the MySQL service is running and the database connection details in the Local WP configuration file are correct. I also tried replacing the IP address ‘::1’ with ‘localhost’, but unfortunately, nothing seems to work.
I even attempted to uninstall Local WP completely and reinstall it, but the issue remains unresolved.
If anyone has experienced this error before or has any suggestions on how to resolve it, I would greatly appreciate your input.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
