Needs to add list of custom folders in Site settings or Local settings
Now its searching only in wp-content/upload folder, but images can be in other folders too

I second this. It would be helpful for plugin/theme development also.
+1 since theme directories tend to have images (i.e. icons) which could use a one stop compression method.
Hey all! This was in the list of features we would like to implement but haven’t yet prioritized it in our roadmap. That said, this repository is open source and we would welcome a PR to add this feature if anyone wants to take a stab.
