Import WordPress site created on ServerPress Desktop Server into Local when DS not working on Mac M1

I’d like to import a wordpress website created using ServerPress Desktop server into WP Local so I can develop it on my mac M1 MacBook. I don’t have a db backup, but I do have all the site files.

Hi @danwpc

If you spin up a new, blank Local site first you can then manually import your content overtop of it. The steps would be similar to our manual import steps below except obviously you would ignore the DB portions.

Thank you. I may give it a shot. The theme was so old I decided to rebuild. It’ll be much better in the end. However, this could come in handy at some point. Come to think of it, I did try it and got an error message bc php version was so old. I would have to address at least that first.

That could definitely be problematic @danwpc! We do offer PHP going back to 7.3.5 but it sounds like you might even need to go further than that.
