This is a tip if you run Local under Windows 11. Since a while back we are able to create a “Dev drive”. The point of that is so that Windows Defender not directly scan all files all the time and therefore improves access time in Local.
I mounted my new volume in a folder named “Local files” so that all the site data is in the new performace volume.
