What issue or error are you experiencing?

I have issues loading local on my windows 11. It is giving me error

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Wolefin

We saw issues with an older release where Windows Defender was blocking Local as a false positive. It shouldn’t be an issue anymore but maybe check your security settings to see if anything can be allowed or ignored.

Thanks for your response.
I did the following but still having issues.

I download afresh, I tried installing but it did not load, but then i ran it as administrator and it installed. Now i can only run it as administrator.

Please can you advise on likely challenges in the future if any.

So are you able to proceed now? Or are you still running into any errors or issues? Are you not able to run as admin anymore?
