Installation Hung On Local Image-Dealbreaker

Installing on Windows 7. local-by-flywheel.log (12.2 KB)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled four times, and always hang at the same step: Local Image. Looking through all the threads this seems to be a pretty common problem but requires an awful lot of work and knowledge to solve. I am looking at Flywheel as compared to Desktop Server and Pantheon. So far, I’m not impressed.

If there is no easy fix to this then I am going to have to scrap the whole thing. Far too much time expended already.

Hi Sally,

Please ensure that your computer has VT-X/AMD-v enabled. See [Windows] Help! I'm getting a BIOS error about VT-X/AMD-v during installation for information on how to resolve that.

Sorry for the trouble!

Finally! Mark this one resolved.

BTW: If this already exists I didn’t find it, but a prominent Common Problems and Resolutions post with this information may have saved me a lot of frustration.
