Hello to all Locals,
I have just installed Local on my PC running Windows 11 and I am now lost as to how to bring my Wordpress site onto my PC. When I click on Open Site. I keep being taken to a Mircrosoft page where I am asked to open something calls IIS. What is this? Do I need to install it? And does it carry a price tag?

If you’re WordPress site is hosted somewhere other than WP Engine and Flywheel the easiest way, that’s also free, is to just download a backup and direct import it directly into Local.
If your host doesn’t have an option for creating and downloading backups, you can just the plugin WP Migrate Lite to create a full site export into a zip file and then import that zip into Local.
