Is there a way to define mysql defaut settings?

The defaults in my.cnf.hbs make sites rather slow on my machine, so I am tuning the settings manually.

Is there a way to define the defaults used for each new site? (max_allowed_packet, thread_stack, innodb stuff…)

I tried changing the settings for a blueprint site, but they get overwritten when I create a new site based on it.

Hi @mwm You should be able to accomplish this by editing a regular Local site and then saving it as a blueprint after. Blueprints themselves are not editable.

Can you give that a try and let us know if you’re still having trouble?
