Issues with importing using duplictor

Issue Summary

I am trying to import my site using the duplictor plugin. I simply dragged the zip file to local and the import seems to work.

On my production site I am using elementor pro and I’ve set global colors.

  • On my imported local site I activated elementor pro but all my global colors got somehow lost…
  • Also my cookie notice was lost.
  • Also I have some errors with special characters, but only on site titles (not within the texts of a side).

Troubleshooting Questions

I am not sure if there are any special steps required

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.1.5+5536

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

After importing the site, are you able to log into the WordPress admin and work with the site?

If you are able to work with the WP admin, then there’s likely a site-level issue that makes it so the site can’t be imported cleanly.
