I’m getting a " A JavaScript error occurred in the main process" message when i try to open the Local app on mac os 10.13.6. It won’t even let me close the window, i can just quit the app. Any idea what is causing this? I have used the local app many times before without running into problems. I downloaded and installed a new version but the error still pursuits.
I just solved the problem and wanted to share this in case someone runs into the same issue.
I downloaded appcleaner and deleted the local app with it. It deletes all application support files which are in the library. Apparently some file in there was corrupt and caused the problem. After that I could reinstall the local app and everything works again!
