Update Popup empty, JS error

Updater Popup Window empty on macOS 15.6.1

When I start Local, the update prompt popup opens, but it is empty. When I inspect source, I can see a javascript error: “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘getAppPath’)” (see screenshot).

Local works fine, I just can’t update.

Steps to reproduce

Start Local version 9.2.6+6872 on macOS 15.6.1 (Apple M2)

Environment Info

  • Operating System: macOS 15.6.1 (Apple M2)
  • Local version 9.2.6+6872

Hey @Philipp! Can you try manually updating by going to our releases page here and grabbing the appropriate download?
