Live link duplicates url of page

Hi

I have a wordpress subdirectories multisite installation. The site works very well on the local machine but when I try to use live link to show the client it is having a redirect problem.

An additional url section is being duplicated:

http://871f16e8.ngrok.io - main site
http://871f16e8.ngrok.io/consult/ - site to preview
http://871f16e8.ngrok.io/consult/consult/ - what is actually happening

Writing the site as http://871f16e8.ngrok.io/consult/ doesn’t work either.

Any advice is very much appreciated!

Hi, just asking again for some help with this, I still cannot get the site to live link as as this is a new platform to me I’ve run out of ideas to try.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you on this!

I’ve tested this and I did not run into any issues when using the Preferred environment, multisite with subdirectories, and the Live Link functionality.

Are there any plugins that could be causing this or custom redirects on this site?

Flywheel helped me out with this one on 01/03, the domain mapping configuration was the culprit here.

I deactivated the “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin, then the subsite loads correctly over the NGROK live link. When that plugin is reactivated, then the redirect loop to /consult/consult started up again.
